Rochester, N.Y., July 16, 2014 – eHealth Technologies, a leading provider of continuity of care solutions, announced its Board of Directors has appointed Ken H. Rosenfeld as Chief Executive Officer and President. Rosenfeld previously held the position of President at eHealth Technologies and co-founded the company in 2006.

“There is no better person to lead eHealth Technologies than Ken Rosenfeld,” said Ray Scott, eHealth Technologies’ Chairman. “Ken is a proven leader who has consistently and steadfastly driven the growth of eHealth Technologies as it continues to provide technology services that improve the continuity of care for patients. He possesses a strong work ethic, effectively brings people together, and exudes a passion to ensure that eHealth Technologies’ solutions meet the modern demands of clinicians and health systems.”

eHealth Technologies’ solutions are based on the advanced eHealth Connect® Platform which provides a modern, user friendly and integrated solution designed to enable a 360° view of the referred patient. The eHealth Connect Platform provides insight into referral data, streamlines the complete referral process, and ensures clinicians have the right information available right when they need it to care for their patients. Ken co-founded the company around simplifying and expediting the task of gathering, digitizing, indexing, and delivering physical patient records and images. Now the eHealth Connect Platform supports enhanced ways to deliver needed clinical information intelligently, and also provide unique capabilities to share images between healthcare facilities and within Health Information Exchanges (HIEs).

As a result of eHealth Technologies’ continued rapid growth Mr. Rosenfeld recently brought on a chief technology officer, Colin Rhodes and chief strategy officer, Dr. Chad Malone to join the company’s experienced leadership team. With Colin’s and Chad’s deep technical and clinical background, the company is innovating on further unique ways to impact healthcare’s “triple aim” of improving patient care and the overall health of patients while lowering the cost of healthcare.

Every moment is precious when a patient is ill. Just ask patients, recently diagnosed with cancer, when they try to get an appointment for a second opinion and they are told an appointment can’t be scheduled until all of their medical records and images have arrived. The eHealth Connect Platform empowers the patient and clinician so treatment can begin sooner.

“I am proud of how we improve patient care through what my team has accomplished over the past 8 years, and even more excited about how we can increase the positive impact we have on healthcare as our solutions evolve,” stated Mr. Rosenfeld.
