eHealth Technologies Demonstrates Interoperability

Beyond Meaningful Use and HIE: Achieving Interoperability

Rochester, NY, February 19, 2014 – eHealth Technologies, a leading provider of continuity of care solutions, announced today its eHealth Connect® offering passed 21 actor/ profile combinations at the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) 2014 IHE North American Connectathon. eHealth Connect continues to prove its role as a leader in interoperability by successfully completing tests for new profiles like Cross-Community Access for Imaging (XCA-I), Cross-Community Access (XCA), Cross-Community Patient Discovery (XCPD) and Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing for Imaging (XDS-I.b). This further confirms how eHealth Connect successfully connects the healthcare continuum across enterprises, health information exchanges, providers and others so that any external medical record and diagnostic quality image is available when and where it is needed.

Additionally, eHealth Connect successfully integrated with numerous Health IT systems during the event, authenticating the solution’s ability to exchange standards-based clinical data and diagnostic imaging according to IHE standards, meeting Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements.

“eHealth Technologies has proven their ability to interoperate in complex Health IT environments by leveraging standards-based information exchange.” stated Michael Moeller, director of software development. “Testing our solution alongside many other Healthcare IT vendors further validates the ease in which we integrate into our customer’s environments.”

Connectathon is a cross-vendor, live, supervised, and structured testing event which drew over 100 participating vendors and 600+ engineers and IT architects. Connectathon is the health information technology industry’s largest interoperability testing event.

eHealth Technologies will also demonstrate the interoperability of eHealth Connect at the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase, Hall F, HIMSS14 Annual Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, FL between February 23rd and February 27th.
