eHealth Technologies goes pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

 width=

Rochester, NY, October 12, 2021 – Each year in the United States, about 255,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women and about 2,300 in men. During the month of October, organizations and individuals across the country come together to raise awareness about breast cancer.

eHealth Technologies joins the effort this year and on Wednesday, October 13, employees will be wearing pink to show their support.

Some of the most distinguished cancer and transplant centers in the U.S. use eHealth Technologies’ services and tools to improve patient care and save money in today’s challenging health care environment.

eHealth Technologies transforms manual, labor intensive processes of gathering medical records. They provide an indexed, electronic medical record, which makes the review process easier and faster for providers and can streamline the path to treatment for millions of patients.

Although deaths from breast cancer have declined over time, it remains the second leading cause of cancer death overall among women (skin cancer is the first) and the leading cause of cancer death among Hispanic women.
