eHealth Technologies is SOC 2 Type II Certified
Rochester, N.Y., July 12, 2016 — eHealth Technologies, the leading provider of clinically informed referral solutions, is pleased to announce the recent completion of a Service Organization Control No. 2 (SOC 2) Type ll examination over their Healthcare Records Management System. A SOC 2 Type ll audit examines a service organization’s system by using predefined trust services principles and criteria for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, or privacy as a benchmark for evaluating the effectiveness of controls throughout a six to twelve-month period. The SOC 2 Type ll examination was performed by Macpage LLC, an independent certified public accounting firm that performs SOC exams nationwide.
According to Durward Ferland, who leads the Information Assurance Services practice at Macpage LLC, “The use of SOC 2 examination reports has greatly expanded and is often used by eHealth Technologies’ user entities as part of their third party due diligence activities.
