eHealth Technologies’ Director of Human Resources, Michelle Halloran, named finalist in Rochester’s Second Annual Human Resources Executive of the Year Award

ROCHESTER, NY – February 10, 2015 – eHealth Technologies, the industry-leading provider of continuity of care solutions, is proud to announce Michelle Halloran, Director of Human Resources and Corporate Compliance, has been selected as a finalist in the Rochester affiliate of the National Human Resources Association (NHRA) Second Annual Human Resources Executive of the Year Award. Michelle is one of four finalists. The winner will be announced and all four finalists will be honored at a luncheon on Tuesday, April 21st, at Monroe Golf Club.

The HR Executive of the Year Award recognizes exceptional leaders in the region’s human resources community who are innovative and consistently prepare their organizations for the future, make significant contributions and impact their organizations, the HR community and the communities in which they live; demonstrate leadership, innovation and operational excellence; and inspire others to excel.

Michelle Halloran joined eHealth Technologies in 2012 as the Director of Human Resources and Corporate Compliance. She worked in partnership with company founders to institute direction, management, and development of company culture, corporate policies, and compliance. Over the last three years her focus has been on designing, assessing, developing, and implementing effective people strategies and tactics to improve employee satisfaction. In 2013 and 2014 positive employee culture had been evidenced by employees’ nomination of eHealth Technologies as one of Democrat and Chronicle’s “Best Places to Work” in the Rochester area.

Halloran earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo and her Master of Science Degree in Careers and Human Resource Development from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She began her career in HR at the Arc of Monroe County where she managed key responsibilities including recruitment, management training and metric analysis. She earned Senior Professional in Human Resource certification with the Society of Human Resource Management.

In addition to serving on the GVSHRM Diversity Council she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Mary Cariola Children’s Center and the Rochester Childfirst Network. She is immediate past chair of the Human Resources Committee for the Mary Cariola Children’s Center and chairs the Personnel Committee for the Rochester Childfirst Network. She also volunteers for the Human Resources Committee at the Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
