InterSystems HealthShare Strategic Informatics Platform to Gain Instant Access to Diagnostic-Quality Images, Supporting Meaningful Use Stage 2 Criteria
NEW YORK, October 15, 2012 – InterSystems Corporation, a global leader in software for connected care, andeHealth Technologies™, a leading provider of imaging solutions for electronic health records (EHR) and health information exchange (HIE) solutions, announced today a partnership to provide single-click access to diagnostic-quality images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds via the InterSystems HealthShare™ strategic informatics platform. HealthShare is currently used by hospitals, integrated delivery networks, and regional and national health information exchanges worldwide.

Using eHealth Technologies’ eHealth Imaging Solutions™, images are delivered along with results, enabling care providers single-click access to seamlessly view and collaborate using a secure, diagnostic-quality, zero-footprint, Web-based application. In addition, emergent image delivery will support emergency care providers by providing images prior to report generation – a leading-edge capability that will drastically reduce the time-to-care in the most vital situations.
